Ten Years in the Making | The Art of Home

We are beyond thrilled to announce Shea’s forthcoming book, The Art of Home, a concept that has been ten years in the making. Next year we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Studio McGee, what started as a small interior design firm Shea launched in 2014 has grown into a deep portfolio of projects (which you’ll see in-depth inside these pages), a product line with Target, Threshold x Studio McGee, as well as our own, McGee & Co., and a show on Netflix, Dream Home Makeover, to name just a few of the exciting launches and collaborations we’ve been part of since our debut in 2014.

The Art of Home features 400+ pages of stunning interiors photography, packed with anecdotes from Shea and stories behind the design. The book is just as much a guide as it is inspiration, with how-tos on rug layering, hanging artwork and light fixtures, and the basics of shelf, bed, and coffee table styling, amongst more. We cannot wait to hear all the ways in which you’re inspired by The Art of Home.
