McGee & Co. Summer Shoot Tour
01 Playful Office Space

Come along as we take a room-by-room tour of the McGee & Co. summer 2024 collection shoot. These new pieces match the environment, which is a calming palette of whites and creams and neutral materials.

One of our favorite things to do when we release a new McGee & Co. collection is treat the shoot as if it’s a project tour. Shea and the product team spend a year (if not more) designing these pieces, sometimes the same amount of time as what Shea and the Studio McGee design team spend on a project. It makes sense that we have the same amount of excitement to see the finished product all styled out. We stayed close to home in Utah for this shoot and we love the sense of tranquility and calm that came out of it. Here’s a look at the three styled rooms of the McGee & Co. summer collection shoot.

01

Living Room
Natural light from all angles.

We love how bright this space is, with windows letting sunlight pour in from nearly every angle. The different tones of cream, taupe, and beige on the pieces are a perfect pairing for this lovely living room. A highlight piece in this space is the contemporary Julio Coffee Table with its chunky legs and textured surface.

02

Family Room
A cozier place for conversation.

Though this room is also bathed in natural light, we love how it’s set up for lounging. It is a bit more relaxed than the living room and features darker tones. One of our favorite pieces in this vignette is the pair of Commodore Lounge Chairs with their wooden base. While the silhouette is more traditional, there are a few decorative elements that add a modern touch.

Sunroom
A space meant for relaxation.

How dreamy is this space! We love how the tapered pin legs of the Fredrick Old World Desk pair with the home’s original tiled floors—the most pristine spot to sit and get some work done.

“Desks don’t have to just be in an office. I love using them in space like a sunroom as an additional place where you can get some work done or styled as a vignette.”
