Inside Shea’s Bathroom: Makeup Must Haves

One of the most popular questions I receive is, “what’s your beauty routine?”

For me, it’s forever evolving. However, I’ve certainly learned more tips and tricks due to our Netflix show and the work of talented makeup artists, Danielle and Marisa, but yet still to this day there are a few staples that remain part of my daily routine regardless of the new skills I require. You can’t beat a beauty workhorse, right? 

From the days I keep it simple and understated to nights out or photoshoots for Studio McGee, these are the products that transition between both. My beauty arsenal is full of picks I’ve relied on for years, as well as some new favorites that I find myself integrating into my everyday routine. From a five-minute fresh face to full glam, here are my beauty favorites.

Prime: Preparing the canvas.

Eyes: I’ve come to rely on the palettes that my makeup artists use over and over.

Foundation: My trusty foundation that never looks cakey, nor does it ever irritate my sensitive skin. 

Concealer: A tried-and-true favorite and a splurge that’s worth every penny. 

Bronzer: I’m not one for contouring, but I love a sun-kissed glow. 

Blush: A trick I learned is that a cream blush topped with a bright, almost neon pink blush gives the best pop of color.  

Brows: For framing the face. 

Lips: I love a drugstore liner paired with a luxe lipstick. 

Set: This is the perfect setting spray for locking in the look and keeping a dewy glow.

Lashes: One to add some length, and the other to pump up the volume.
