With innovative detailing, textural nuances, and a visually stunning palette, the Ann Sacks x Studio McGee collection will give your space an expression that’s uniquely you, all the while embodying the ethos of a timeless aesthetic. Partnering with one of the world’s leaders in tile “was an easy choice,” said Shea. “It is so exciting to create a versatile tile collection that reflects the Studio McGee aesthetic.” From Canyon Lake, a collection deeply aligned with the textures and colors of the earth, to Willow Heights, a collection inspired by the classic look of parquet flooring, each piece in the Ann Sacks x Studio McGee collaboration was designed “to be able to age with its owner, becoming an heirloom feature of a home that passes amongst generations,” Shea adds. Explore each of the three collections below and get inspired.
No. 01 | Canyon Lake Collection
No. 02 | Willow Heights Collection
"The Studio McGee aesthetic is rooted in neutrals with subdued accent colors adorning each space. This perspective was exactly how I approached the design of our tile collection. From creamy white walls to dusty shades you could find in nature, I am always looking to add organic warmth to every space."
No. 01 | Canyon Lake Collection
About the collection | Canyon Lake draws its inspiration from the textures and movements of old-world tile yet is designed for the ease of everyday living.
How to use the collection | When envisioning the installation of my Canyon Lake collection, there were limitless possibilities because of the range of colors. Each colorway is offered in two sizes and finishes making it a natural fit for everything from a kitchen backsplash to a mudroom floor or even in outdoor spaces. It was important to me that the tiles could be easily mixed and matched across styles for a collected look. I also love to mix colorways in the field tiles to make a bold statement—a few ways to mix the field tiles are through accent stripes, soldier course, or a checkerboard pattern. -Shea McGee
"The individual names of the Canyon Lake collection say a lot about the inspiration for the color palette and what they will bring to a home: Antique White, Dusty Rose, Midnight, Mist, Sea Salt, and Stone. For longevity, I think it is best to embrace a color palette that can be found in elements of nature."
No. 02 | Willow Heights Collection
About the collection | Inspired by the classic elegance of parquet flooring, the collection is offered in three marble combinations to create a sophisticated and understated palette.
How to use the collection | At Studio McGee, I plan to use the Willow Heights collection in a lot of bathrooms or entryway floors. We’ve designed all three colorways to have a Calcatta marble base with neutral accents to stand the test of time and pair well with a wide range of décor styles. -Shea McGee
No. 03 | Novah Collection
About the collection | Inspired by the organic, well-worn beauty of tumbled limestone, Novah is a dry-press porcelain collection that offers durability and easy maintenance.
How to use the collection | I see myself using the Novah collection for applications both large and small, and even outdoors. I also plan to pair colorways together to create a diamond, checker, or bordered look. Although I will most often use this tile on floors, it would work beautifully on walls as well. The beauty of this collection is that it is very transitional between styles. -Shea McGee
"When designing this collection, I knew I wanted to create a porcelain limestone that hit all the right notes I’ve been looking for and couldn’t find—subtle variation between tiles for a natural look, authentic texture across the top and edges, and color options that pair well with everything."
