McGee & Co.: Summer Dining Nook

We love bringing personality into the spaces we spend the most time… 

And there’s (almost) nowhere we’d rather be on a hot summer afternoon than sitting down to a late-morning brunch or afternoon snack board! When styling this space for our most recent catalogue, we were drawn toward a curated look with timeless personality. With small vignettes and light, summery textiles, this space feels intimate and refreshing.

Curating an effortless tabletop 

There’s something really charming about simple dinnerware. Layered with organic placemats, airy summer napkins, and tabletop vignettes, the Adele Dining Collection lays a foundation for a casually beautiful tabletop. 

We love the ribbed detail on the Ribbed Wine Glasses. Glass is both trendy and timeless, and bringing it into the space gave the tabletop a clean yet traditional feel.  

The accent pieces that make the space 

Stacking artwork and layering the built-ins with decor gives this space warmth while keeping the palette, textures, and overall feel airy and light. We especially love the Subdued Botanicals artwork — placed just behind the table, these pieces are organic and delicate. They bring movement to the nook without calling too much attention and have a whimsical feel.  

Fresh greenery on the table adds a final detail of lived-in charm. We paired it with our Hand-Woven Wicker Vase for an extra element of texture and a casual, relaxed look.
