A Look Back at Porches of the Past
A few McGee favorites from the fall season.
09 October 2023 -
As the leaves change, so do our excitement levels and every year we wait anxiously to see how Shea styles her front porch for the fall. To get ready for the future, we thought we’d take a look at the past. Here are some of our favorite McGee fall front porches of past years.
Look No. 02 | Wovens & Rattans
Look No. 01 | Pastel Pumpkins
The fall season is usually all about deep crimsons, oranges, and browns. We love how Shea designed this porch of the past with an array of pastels for a lighter take on seasonal styling. A simple welcome mat pairing finishes the understated look.

Look No. 02 | Wovens & Rattans
This fall front porch was one of our favorites with an assortment of plants displayed flanking the door in rattan baskets and a woven welcome mat with muted colors. The addition of the garland was an unexpected take on a decor element traditionally reserved for the holidays.

Look No. 03 | Taking Flight
This porch of the past is most closely aligned with fall’s favorite holiday, Halloween. We love how Shea approached spooky styling without bringing on too much kitsch. The bats taking flight are a fun way to welcome guests into your home.
